Troy grew up on a farm in western Iowa. After studying animal sciences at Iowa State University, he earned his master's degree in animal nutrition at the University of Minnesota. Then he went back to Iowa State University to earn his Ph.D in animal nutrition. Prior to working at QTI, Troy worked for a small pre-mix company and then a biotechnology company that made value-enhanced grains.
Dr. Miguel Ruano
Dr. Ruano is a poultry veterinarian who has worked for the poultry industry for more than 30 years. He earned his master's degree in avian medicine at the University of Georgia and has been working for QTI since 2017.
Dave discovered his passion for details as a commodity trader right out of college, joining QTI to manage the critical role of logistics management, working with customers, transportation vendors, warehouses and the QTI sales support team
Joey joined QTI in February of 2020. He brings 14 years of production, product sales and account management to the team. Joey and his wife Jennifer have 2 kids and reside in Goldsboro, NC. Away from work, Joey enjoys camping with his family as well as playing golf.
Dr. Miloud Araba
Dr. Araba joined QTI in June 2020 as Poultry Nutritionist, Research & Technical Services, responsible for technical sales support with poultry producers, veterinarians and nutritionists as well as implementing field research on QTI existing and potential future products. Most recently he was with Syngenta.
Ryan joined QTI in December of 2020. He brings more than 26 years of production in Layers and Broiler Breeders to our team. Ryan and his wife have 3 sons and live in Rice, MN area. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys the outdoors, including hunting, fishing and camping with his family.
Steve brings to QTI the perspective of a multi-industry career - taking his degree in business administration and concentration in computer science to work in early ERP software development and then involved with new technology developments in the telecom industry. Looking for a new opportunity, Steve joined QTI in 2007 after recognizing the importance and potential of agriculture. Steve and his wife moved from the Eastern U.S to the Midwest in 1988 where they learned to love the Midwest and its people. They raised four children, two boys and two girls. Steve and his sons were very active in the BSA as both boys earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He currently is studying to become a deacon.
Dr. Brooke Jasek
Dr. Jasek joined QTI in 2021 after having earned her Doctorate of Philosophy in Poultry Science degree at the University of Arkansas, where she evaluated alternatives to antibiotics in broiler diets through multiple research projects, formulated and manufactured broiler diets for research trials. Dr. Jasek completed both her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Poultry Science degrees from Texas A&M University.
Brian joined QTI in 2021 as Sales and Marketing Manager, after significant positions in the poultry industry including in the animal health and nutrition sector. Brian has strong production side experience with companies like Georges, Tyson Foods, Pilgrim’s and OK Farms. He earned his B.S. in Poultry Science from the University of Arkansas.
