Troy grew up on a farm in western Iowa. After studying animal sciences at Iowa State University, he earned his master's degree in animal nutrition at the University of Minnesota. Then he went back to Iowa State University to earn his Ph.D in animal nutrition. Prior to working at QTI, Troy worked for a small pre-mix company and then a biotechnology company that made value-enhanced grains.
Jim grew up on a small grain and livestock farm in Southwest Iowa. After earning a B.S. in Ag Business, he worked for 24 years with Land O’ Lakes, Inc. as a Feed Sales Manager and Region Sales Manager. Jim has worked with livestock producers for over 40 years, spending most of his time with pork and poultry producers.
Jay went to Texas A&M for college and worked for Elanco after graduation. He got involved in poultry while working for American Cyanamid and later was in the feed business for almost 9 years as the Vice President of Trouw Nutrition's livestock division. Jay has been with QTI for over 2 years now.
Dr. Brian Dirks
Dr. Dirks is a microbiologist living in Philadelphia, PA. He earned his undergrad degree at Delaware Valley University and his master's and Ph.D. from Drexel University. He has been with QTI for 2 years and previously worked for Herbruck's.
Dr. Sheilena M. Brookshire
Dr. Brookshire is a poultry veterinarian living northeast of Atlanta, GA. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and then continued to veterinary school focusing on poultry medicine. Before being with QTI for the last year, she worked for Sedona AG Services with the Elanco technical team.
Dr. Miguel Ruano
Dr. Ruano is a poultry veterinarian who has worked for the poultry industry for more than 30 years. He earned his master's degree in avian medicine at the University of Georgia and has been working for QTI for over 2 years.
Dave discovered his passion for details as a commodity trader right out of college, joining QTI to manage the critical role of logistics management, working with customers, transportation vendors, warehouses and the QTI sales support team
Sam earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the Stevenson University in Owings Mills, MD. Before joining QTI, Sam served in Poultry Technical Sales, where he fostered client relationships and generated customer trials. At QTI, Sam provides sales and technical support for producers, veterinarians, and nutritionists.
